Gisbert Oversluizen said he's made enough money in professional baseball, so it's time to move on.
"I did pretty well for myself, my bank account isn't hurting, maybe I'll become a manager or a team owner or something so I can make even more," he said, announcing this season would be his last. "I'm 36 years old, so I've still got some time to make something of the rest of my life."
In his career Oversluizen has hit for a .300 average and totaled 1004 hits, 10 home runs and 387 RBIs.

Bob Everson said he's incredibly grateful for getting a chance to play with the 's-Hertogenbosch BHV organization, but this season will be his last.
"I'm extremely loyal to the team, but that's why I have to walk away. I think there's probably someone younger and better who can come in and take my spot," the 36-year-old said. "I'm grateful for all the opportunities I've gotten in pro ball."
On his lifetime ledger sheet, the 36-year-old Everson has won 56 and lost 48 with a 3.47 ERA.
